Announcements UpdateDuring the December 18 community forum, a presentation about the future of schools in the Damascus community was given. A district representative presented preliminary recommendations from the K-8 Study Committee. The final slide of this presentation inadvertently addressed interests that were outside the scope of this committee's work. The slide in question addressed maintaining current boundaries, and the move to one location for a K-8 school. These are district interests, and do not represent the committee’s work. We regret the error. A final report of this committee will be presented to Superintendent Schlachter in January. Calendar of Committee MeetingsMeeting time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
